A panoramic painting of one of my favorite places on Earth, Big Sur. The ragged high cliffs of California's central coast, crashing waves against edgy dark rocks, and beautiful sunsets make this place magical. Created in oil on canvas.

My only plein air (painting while outdoors) painting and it was finished in one day. I used mostly a palate knife and a sponge. Oil on canvas.
Hendry's Beach, Santa Barbara, CA
My favorite piece, because I've given it layers of additions including help from a professional painter who gave this piece better coloring, (the underside of waves should be green), better looking trees on the ridge than I made, and the people on the beach, made by a palate knife. Oil on canvas.
Monet's Pond
My second painting, I loved creating the reflection of the eucalyptus trees, not pictured, but obviously in the background. I used heavy amounts of paint to create the effect of lilies and lotus plants popping up out of the pond. Oil on canvas.
